Zinc sulfate; It is a combination of sulfur and zinc. This is an herbicide commonly used for algae control. The toxicity of zinc sulfate depends on the amount of zinc in the product. Zinc is an essential mineral for human, animal and plant nutrition. Zinc is found naturally in food and water.

At the same time, Zinc sulfate is an inorganic compound and a dietary supplement.

It is water soluble in its 100% form, min. Contains 35 (± 1%) % Zn (zinc).
After the Zinc Sulphate solution is prepared in the Leach Process in our factory in Çorum, production is carried out in the Spray Dryer Unit, which is only available in our factory in Turkey. Capacity: 35 tons/day, 12 thousand tons/year production.

Usage areas

In addition to being one of the main components in many enzymes in plants, animals and humans, zinc (Zn) also serves many areas;

• In Agricultural Industry; It increases the plant's water holding capacity and product productivity by regulating soil pH. It prevents the yellowing of the leaves, premature shedding and shrinkage. It increases the number of shoots and fruit set in fruit trees, prevents fruit deformations, and increases the market value of the product. It prevents yellowing of grass in meadows and pastures, encourages rapid growth and abundant grass formation.

• Pharmaceutical Industry; used as an astringent (blood stopper),
• Food Industry, in the yeast industry,
• In the Mining Industry; flotation of some metal ores, ore extraction,
• It is also used as an important component of precipitation baths in the production of viscose rayon and zinc coating electrolyte, as a mordant in dyeing, as a preservative for textile leather. Rayon is used in fiber production, varnishes, adhesives, titanium dioxide production, rubber as an accelerator, electroplating and surface treatment.
• Synthetic Fiber Industry, Beer industry
• Termites cause decay in wooden materials. For the protection of wood, it is used as a preservative to inhibit termites in some wood materials. In this area, impregnation with chromated zinc sulfate gave very good results in wood protection.
• Fungi that cause rot on wood attack the cell wall of the wood. As a result, wood materials will rot, causing a decrease in strength. Therefore, it is used as a wood preservative and in the manufacture of protective materials.
• In water treatment, Zinc Sulphate finds application as a corrosion inhibitor in cooling towers and municipal water systems.
• It is used as a feed additive with the identification number 3b605 according to the European Union 2016/1095 Commission Implementation Regulation.
